The Community and booklets coordinate the creation of the body of the local police of the municipality (30/09/2013)

The presidential advisor, Manuel Campos, met with the mayor of Librilla, Francis Xavier Montalban, to discuss the project of creating their own local police body, defined with a hierarchical structure and organization in order to improve care and safety of its inhabitants.

The creation of the body of the local police is to "contribute to increasing the safety of the town through the provision of resources and facilities which can respond to the needs of society and improve the welfare of its citizens," said Campos.

The constitution will be a "significant improvement in security" Librilla, as it will establish a command structure and expanded the functions of the agents, who can make use of appropriate defenses to the demands of policing.

The city today has a staff of six support local police, which perform supervision and custody of goods and municipal facilities, traffic regulation and practice of the first steps by traffic accidents in urban areas.

The head of the Presidential stressed that his department has spent more than 237,000 euros to the municipality in terms of safety and has allowed the incorporation of two effective implementation of the Regional Public Safety Plan in Librilla.

Also, the City of Librilla accounted for a vehicle, which was assigned in the property last year.

In this sense, also addressed the possibility of building a Comprehensive Security Center to house the body of the Local Police and Civil Protection, to provide joint operational results in the efficiency and quality of services provided to citizens.
