The PSOE demands that the regional government consider the arrangement of the road that connects Fuente Librilla and Alcantarilla in the budgets for 2021 (28/11/2020)

Fernando Moreno recalls that, in the last 13 years, the regional Executive has repeatedly promised to fix the road, but despite the insistence, both from neighbors and the City Council of Mula, it has always fallen on deaf ears The deputy of the Socialist Parliamentary Group Fernando Moreno has demanded that the regional government include in the budgets of the Autonomous Community for 2021 the investment necessary for the repair of the RM-C1 highway, which connects Fuente Librilla and Alcantarilla. Fernando Moreno has pointed out that this road is the main communication route for the residents of Fuente Librilla with Murcia, that is, with the public universities of Murcia and Cartagena, their reference hospital, ITV, and other public services, in addition to travel Neighbors' diaries to their jobs. The socialist deputy has explained that the road is in a terrible state of conservation and is deteriorated, which represents a serious danger for the neighbors who travel it.

"The pavement has a large number of potholes and holes, in several sections there are no ditches, and the narrowness of the road makes circulation difficult, especially between heavy vehicles," he explained. In addition, he recalled that the Mula City Council has denounced the situation of this road on numerous occasions before the General Directorate of Roads and the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure. "In the last 13 years, the regional government has repeatedly committed itself to the residents and the Mula City Council to fix the road, but despite the insistence, both from residents and the council itself, it has always fallen into broken bag, "he said. On November 21, the regional deputies Fernando Moreno and Pedro López, together with the mayor of Mula, Juan Jesús Moreno, and the councilors of Urbanism and Pedanías, Francisco Llamazares and Candelaria Navarro, respectively, met with representatives of the Neighborhood Council of Fuente Librilla, to discuss various topics of interest to the Muleña district. At the end of the meeting, the Socialist deputies made themselves available, both to the neighbors, and to the Mula City Council to work on everything necessary, so that this project so important for the day-to-day life of Fuente Librilla and Barqueros move forward as soon as possible, favoring communication with neighbors and thus being able to combat depopulation.
