The Civil Guard of Murcia has stopped in flagrante two youths in Librilla, on suspicion of two counts of robbery with violence and intimidation in service areas and rest areas on the A7 motorway.

During the performance the Civil Guard has recovered several mobile terminals that had been stolen moments before the arrest.

The action began when several patrols of the Public Safety Unit of Murcia, who were providing preventive service in the region of Guadalentín, received notice of the headquarters of the Guardia Civil that were occurring several robberies with violence and intimidation in areas rest of the a-7.

Given the received and in order to trace the perpetrators of theft alert patrols deployed a large device USECIC dispersed siege by the different service areas and rest areas on the motorway.

The device bore fruit soon after when the Civil Guard spotted a suspicious vehicle in a rest area at the height of the municipality of Librilla.

Tourism was occupied by two people whose physical description matched that of the authors of the theft so with heightened security measures, agents conducted the identification of both and the check of the vehicle and the objects in their possession.

These checks allowed to find several mobile phones that had been stolen earlier in two steals, enough evidence for an arrest and subsequent remand in custody of the two suspects.

Preliminary investigation indicates that at the time of arrest the arrested were about to commit a robbery, which was foiled by the Civil Guard.

So far they attributed the alleged authorship of two counts of robbery with violence and intimidation, not ruling out its involvement in more crimes.

The arrested men, of Romanian nationality, aged 21 and 20 years living in Alicante and with a history of similar offenses, together with the proceedings initiated and the recovered objects have been made available to the Magistrate's Court in Totana (Murcia).
